The SVC50 is designed for quiet practice without sacrificing the natural touch and balance of a traditional cello. Its alder body and detachable beech knee supports help keep the cello stable while playing seated, just like an acoustic instrument. The maple neck and ebony fingerboard ensure a familiar feel, making transitions between this and an acoustic cello smooth and intuitive.
Three built-in reverb modes—Room, Hall 1, and Hall 2—give you the option to tailor your sound while practising or performing. This means you can simulate the feel of playing in a real acoustic space, even when wearing headphones. These options are great for keeping your playing expressive and enjoyable during silent practice.
With its Aux-in jack, the SVC50 lets you plug in a phone or music player and jam along with your favourite tracks or backing accompaniments. The Line Out and Phones Out jacks also provide flexible output options, whether you’re sending your signal to headphones, an amp, or a recording setup.
Weighing just 3.5kg, the SVC50 is easy to carry to lessons, rehearsals, or gigs.
