D'Addario Preludes

These strings feature a core made of several strands of steel, braided together into a wire. This ensures both flexibility and durability. The winding is made of stainless steel on all strings. These strings are unaffected by temperature and humidity making them ideal for use in many climates. Their bow response is also excellent and they are the preferred strings of educators for students.

Medium tension

These strings are medium tension and strike a balance between the projection of heavier strings and the increased stamina you'd find on lighter strings. The medium tension will also respond well to the bow as well.
