You'll have everything you need to get started. The included J.LaSalle bow has been meticulously crafted to ensure you have a quality playing experience. To ensure that the bow is perfectly balanced, each and every component is individually weighed before being constructed. This allows for comfortable and advanced playing. You'll be confident when storing your instrument too. The included oblong case is covered in a smart black material and is made from styrofoam to offer maximum protection. With a full-length pocket, perfect for sheet music, and the option to carry it with the detachable shoulder strap, it could not be more convenient to transport your violin.

Exceptional wood

The body of the 'Maestro Principal' gives it the strongest sound foundation. Its one-piece flamed Maple back is a rare treat as it is difficult to find wood large enough to cover the whole surface in this way. The beauty of a single piece of flamed wood is unique. It's widely believed a single-piece back improves the tone of a violin too, as the wood of a violin is the base for its acoustics. The Maple and Spruce are handcarved and graduated to precisely the right shape and thickness throughout, to produce richness and balance in tone. The flamed Maple neck is treated the same and is matched with the sides for a pleasing appearance.

Finished to perfection

The 'Maestro Principal' isn't missing a single detail. The delicately laid purfling is precise and a sweet final detail to the crafting of the wood. Then, the optimum shine is brought out of the SV1340 to highlight its special wood characteristics. An oil varnish is applied by hand very finely to create the most subtle glossy look. This thin application brings out the best in appearance and tone.

You won't need to replace the components of this violin any time soon with long-lasting and durable Boxwood fittings. Boxwood has a sweet-looking, light appearance and is often found on more premium instruments. The perfect bridge shape can enhance a violin's acoustics, so this aged Maple bridge adds even more to the advanced sound of this instrument. You can make sure your pitch is always spot on with a VP-14 finetuner for the E-string and Sacconi-style tailpiece hanger, which is believed to have a great impact on playability and responsiveness. The playability is also improved with a high-quality, polished Ebony fingerboard. Ebony is a hard surface to play on, thanks to being such a tight-grained wood, so is ideal for a fast playing-quality.
