Eliminate manually edited doubles
Far more than simply a time alignment tool, VocAlign Ultra can now tighten up pitch variations as well. Don't waste your time tuning doubles and background vocals, using the Guide track, you can match the pitch of any other audio files in your session with stunning accuracy and speed.
Multiple Editing views
Ideal for making fast decisions or going in deep, VocAlign Ultra features basic and advanced editing modes. For more general changes that can be done on the fly, swapping to basic mode will save you time in the studio. Getting ultra-realistic and detailed alignment and pitch is just one step away from the advanced editor view.
Tune what you need, leave the rest
Avoid any unwanted processing using the new advanced Sync Point markers. These user-defined target points on your guide and dub tracks allow you to select a portion of your track that you don't want VocAlign to process.
SmartAlign
Saving you a tremendous amount of time in the studio, VocAlign Ultra detects your audio signal in the Dub track instead of the Guide to determine the starting and endpoints of your alignment.
Tighten up the slack
Newly introduced for VocAlign Ultra is the 'tightness' control, whereby you can manually determine how much alignment you want to apply to your track. Contemporary pop producers may want to drive the tightness control to the maximum for a more focused and quantised sound whereas blues-rock guitarists may want to slacken the setting for a double-tracked solo or rhythm for a wider, more natural sound.
Over 60 alignment presets
Coming loaded with a variety of carefully engineered presets spanning a wide range of scenarios, you can dive right into the alignment of your tracks without worrying about using the wrong settings for your project. All well-labelled and easy to navigate, you can use these presets as a jumping-off point for further tweaking, save them and come back to them in future projects.
Enhanced waveform display
Newly designed for VocAlign Ultra is the enhanced waveform display. This new display shows your audio much in the same way that your DAW would, as a detailed waveform showing the peaks and troughs of each waveform. Alternatively, you can view the pitch of your signals to view any pitch correction changes on a piano roll. Having access to this allows you to visually see the differences between your target and reference track to view the comparisons. Produce faster changes as a result and speed up your production workflow.
Scalable GUI
When working with multiple audio tracks in a large project, screen real-estate can be valuable. Because of this, VocAlign Ultra is completely scalable to any size you need to fit your screen and has in view everything you need to complete your project. VocAlign Ultra can be reduced to any size you need to show only the main controls of operation and leave out the window for a streamlined operation. See only what you need and leave out all the rest.
Full ARA2 integration with compatible DAWs
Save time in the studio by using VocAlign Ultra with your ARA2 (Audio Random Access)-enabled DAW. This plugin format communicates instantly between your plugin and DAW, eliminating the need for real-time audio capture as the file instantly be loaded through the plugin upon loading thanks to the sophisticated communication methods of this format.
