Scratch, warp and manipulate your cassette collection. The LANDSCAPE HC-TT Human Controlled Tape Transport is a compact cassette machine with built-in controls for manipulating the sound.



Similar to playing with a vinyl record, the HC-TT allows you to produce sound by using the large playback knob. Pulling the playback control back and forth results in a vinyl-like scratch. The knob rotates the cassette spindle allowing for manipulation and sound-bending.



The compact size makes the unit highly portable, ideal for studio and stage use. It also features a built-in blue switch for momentary mute. You can combine the unit with effect units to create loops and create out of this world sounds. Revive your cassette collection and bring them into the modern era with the HC-TT.

Scratch and Manipulate Your Tape Collection

The HC-TT is a compact tape machine that allows you to manipulate your favourite cassettes. This compact unit features a large playback knob that you can push back and forth to create a scratching-like effect. The playback button acts as a way to interact with your cassette tape, rotating the spindle as you move the large knob. As well as scratching, you can use the unit for sound design purposes.

Endless Sonic Possibilities

When using the HC-TT with other external effect units, you can achieve unique sounds. For instance, adding external effect pedals allows you to manipulate the sound further. You can use a looper to loop parts of your cassette tape as you play it. You could then output that into a delay or reverb unit, creating endless loops of ever-expanding tape sounds.

Compact, Robust and Portable

The highly compact design makes the HC-TT ideal for a range of applications. From studio to live performances, the HC-TT can be used in a variety of different ways. It also includes a built-in, spring-loaded switch that provides a momentary mute for both the stereo channels. Two knobs in the right hand corner allows you to toggle the individual volumes levels of the left and right output channel.

The device uses no internal motor, utilising a circuit designed around the NOS cassette deck preamp chip. This ensures optimal audio fidelity, providing high-end sound reproduction. The robust construction is comprised of a brushed aluminium case with acid etched graphics. The unit also comes complete with a randomely selected old cassette tape to get you started straight out of the box.

Additionally, the unit features ¼-inch output and 3.5mm outputs for both stereo channels. This allows you to plug the unit into various external devices, even allowing you to record the sound from the unit.
