Key Features

The Lewitt LCT 340 Small-Diaphragm Condenser Microphone is a highly versatile pencil microphone designed primarily for capturing acoustic and percussive instruments. The LCT 340 features a cardioid pickup capsule, making it ideal for close-source recording. The 0.8-inch externally polarised design offers superior sound when it comes to capturing either type of instruments. The high dynamic range of up to 124dB, means it can handle higher-level instruments such as drums, while still retaining the rich clarity it offers. It can also be paired with another LCT 340 model for stereo recording purposes. The capsule on the microphone is also interchangeable, for added flexibility (omnidirectional capsule sold separately).
The wide frequency range and low self-noise ensures you capture your source material in immense detail. The extended frequency response captures every nuance of your sound, with strict attention to detail, offering rich yet articulate sound for studio-grade recordings. As well as being primarily suited for acoustic and percussive instruments, the microphone also works well for group vocals, amplifier cabinets, overheads and more. The low-self noise also ensures minimal sound colouration from the internal circuitry and electrical components. It is also immune to electromagnetic interference thanks to the transformerless output stage.
One of the most unique features of the LCT 340 Microphone is the illuminated interface. The front of the robust body features a user interface that is backlit for low-light environments. This illuminated interface provides quick and easy visual indication of when your Pad and Low-Cut settings are in use. The Low-Cut Filter and Attenuation settings are perfect for catering to differing recording environments, allowing you to do everything from remove low-end rumble, to recording higher level instruments without compromising on audio quality. The die-cast full-metal body is also highly durable, making it ideal for both live and studio work. Additionally, the microphone comes complete with a windscreen, microphone clip and leatherette storage bag.
