Kilohearts Toolbox Starter adds six of their most useful effects to those found in the free version. Great for beginners and those new to Kilohearts, this bundle will get you acquainted with their Snapin system.


This is facilitated by Snap Heap, which allows you to combine any of the included plugins in any way you can imagine. Find yourself designing custom modular effects with ease. And if you need somewhere to start, Kilohearts provide loads of great presets as a jumping off point.

Snap Heap

This is the ultimate way to concoct modular effects. In Snap Heap you drag-and-drop any Kiloheart Snapin plugin and combine them together in interesting ways. This is enabled with four effects lanes, parallel/serial processing, an internal modulation system and more.

As well as hosting Snapins, this can be hosted as a Snapin in other hosts. So if you make an awesome effect you can make it part of Phase Plants, Multipass or even another instance of Snap Heap. Snap Heap will have you making effects in your own unique way.

Compressor

All you need for evening out your audio. Use this to shape your sound's dynamics at its attack and sustain tail. Combine with other Kilohearts units with its Snapin functionality.

Distortion

Tear a distortion-sized hole in your sound with this powerful plugin. Five different shapes to use and a range of tone controls. This is the no-nonsense drive module your project needs.

Dynamics

Upward and downward compression. And expansion. And that's how you make a dynamics processer with an extra kick. Visualise your levels easily too with the upper display that can be controlled via dragging it.

Filter

Cut out unwanted frequencies with the kHs Filter. 7 different modes are available to choose from, with a range of controls to adjust them. Plus the handy visual makes it easy to see what you are doing and modify your sound graphically.

Phaser

An extra amount of whoosh to add your sound. The Phaser plugin will give your signal that space-age feel by creating moving peaks and troughs in its spectrum. Combine it with distortion and create a gnarly, hoover-like effect.

Reverb

Give your track that polish you were looking for with reverb. Simulate sound being inside a real room, with all the small reflections it entails. Put simply, this will stop your music sounding like it was made in a vacuum, and give it some life.
