Image Line Vocodex

The Image Line Vocodex is an advanced vocoder engine with an integrated carrier synth and 'Soundgoodizer' maximizer. Produce classic or complex vocoder tones with up to 100 variable-width multi-parameter vocoder bands that always retain a sense of musicality and vocal coherence.

To produce the necessary vocoder sounds Vocodex includes an internal carrier generator based on the 'Sytrus' synth engine. Choose from a comprehensive selection of carrier sounds from a drop-down menu. Alternatively, select and produce an external synth for the carrier sound.

Advanced articulation envelopes offer complete control over the shape of your Vocodex sound. Vocoder envelope control allows you to adjust the dynamics of the per-band envelope follower for precision sound shaping. Individual band behaviour can also be modulated; adjust the number of vocoding bands, bandwidth, and input filtering for more nuanced sound edits that make tweaking and seeking for you sound a powerful and intuitive musical tool.
