The Erica Synth Black MIDI-CV is a duophonic MIDI interface including dual CV and gate outputs as well as a MIDI clock output. The module features a configurable MOD output, which can be used for both a modulation wheel or velocity control. The Erica Synths MIDI-CV v2 features analog glide on both of the MIDI channel, accompanied by a one or two voice switch for added flexibility. The interface is designed to mimic classic monophonic and duophonic synth behaviours. The MIDI-CV Module is part of the Erica Synths black series which uses the best possible components to achieve optimal audio fidelity and functionality.

Duophonic MIDI Interface

The Erica Synth Black MIDI-CV utilises a highly compact design while offering dual CV and Gate outputs as well as a MIDI clock output. The MIDI-CV v2 Module is ideal for a range of applications thanks to its versatile design. The black series from Erica Synths utilises premium-grade components to ensure all inputs and outputs are protected against overvoltage. The highly accurate design is reminiscent of classic mono and duophonic synth behaviours, mimicking them with precision for optimal audio performance. There is also a MIDI clock output, ideal for controlling sequencers.

Glide & Voice Switch

One of the most unique features of this module is the large Glide control. The oversized attenuator provides you with optimal precision. The glide knob affects the glide time on the output CV, affecting both channels at the same time for added convenience. This highly versatile MIDI module features two CV outputs. In one-voice mode CV2 is the same as CV1. When the module is in two-voice mode the CV2 takes the highest note priority and the CV1 takes the lowest note priority. As well as CV outputs it also features dual gate outputs.

Design & Layout

The highly compact design of the Erica Synths Black MIDI-CV module, only requires 6HP of space, providing an unobtrusive way to add MIDI connectivity to your modular setup. The gate outputs are highly versatile, with the second channel providing duplication of Gate 1. When used in the two MIDI channel mode, the second gate works independently of the first. The sleek black faceplate features a range of LED lights signifying when certain parameters and connections are in use. The large, retro-style Glide attenuator features notched edged for added precision when dialling in your required amounts.
