Key Features
Product Ref: 144721
The 4 VCOs allow you to create a range of patches including chunky basslines, soaring leads, lush chords, and more. The Doepfer A-111-4 provides a beefy, analog sound, with its core waveforms as triangle, sawtooth, and rectangle.
Each VCO comes packed with individual controls, inputs and outputs, allowing you to fine-tune each VCO to produce a wide range of tones and sounds. Featured with each VCO is a 1V/octave CV input, with a +/-1 octave switch, and tune control for managing the pitch.
Each contains a switch for the modulation destination, allowing you to choose between exponential frequency modulation and linear frequency modulation (or pulse width modulation of the rectangle via the jumper). Triangle, sawtooth, and rectangle outputs are available for each VCO, allowing you to patch in and create a vast range of sounds.
Whilst there is a master section for controlling all the VCOs together, the Doepfer A-111-4 provides you with individual controls for each of the VCOs. You can choose to use just one of the VCOs to create bass or add 2 or 3 more to bring in more harmonics. .
With a simple design consisting of 2 potentiometers, modulation switch, and inputs and outputs for each VCO, the Doepfer A-111-4 manages to provide you with a wide sound palette, allowing you to create both simple and complex patches.
