To start your show, DJ Deep outlines his entire live performance arsenal. This detailed explanation isn't to tell you which pieces of equipment are necessary but instead serves to outline why pieces are chosen, their purpose and benefits in a live setup. Meet your tutor

DJ Deep is a French techno and house producer and DJ. Playing an important role within the house music industry over the last 20 years, DJ Deep runs the Deeply Rooted Label. Spending most days in the record stores looking for new material, DJ Deep lives and breathes techno and house music.

Emerging from the Paris electro scene, DJ Deep has taken his talents across the world and back and again. Early in his career, DJ Deep was playing for Laurent Garnier at parties such as Oz and Zoo at Club Palace before becoming a regular at the famed Rex Club. Hits such as 'A Deep Groove' fell on regular rotation at some of the largest most influential stations in the city including Radio GH and then later Radio Nova.

Inspired by the love of all things techno and house, DJ Deep took his performance worldwide. Blending contemporary cuts with classics, a narrative was quickly established that DJ Deep was doing more than just DJ, he was telling a story.

Since 2003, DJ Deep has pioneered his label, Deeply Rooted Label. Promoting classic, true-to-the-roots from new greats such as Kerri Chandler, Ben Klock, Francois X, Ben Sims and Roman Poncet. Outside of his label, the music obsessive has continually brought new depths and dynamism to house and techno over the years having released on Rekids, Kaoz Theory and Tresor.

Lending his hand to a myriad of different remixes, DJ Deep has stamped his signature warm atmospheres to the likes of Carl Craig, St Germain, DJ Honesty, Scan 7, Borderland and Point G. Prolific in releasing material, DJ Deep releases music under a wide range of aliases. Such aliases include as Rébeval and being one half of the dua Sergie Rezza alongside Roman Poncet.
