The Make Noise Erbe-Verb Reverb Module is a highly versatile eurorack module, boasting a wide range of cutting-edge reverb algorithms. This highly innovative reverb unit not only offers high-quality presets and tones, it also includes a continuously variable algorithm for creating hybrid and unreal-type spaces. The variable algorithm allows you to achieves classic reverb types such as: plate, room, hall, shimmer and more. This allows you to create without restraint, allowing you to create virtually any reverb type you can imagine. You can also blend between different spaces by modulation the algorithms or manually sweeping parameters for added versatility.
The faceplate includes a wide range of parameters and controls, with reverb sizes ranging from ‘coffin’ to ‘the heavens’. This gives you a wide range to work with, including continuously variable Decay settings all the way to infinite feedback. One of the most unique controls is the ability to utilise manual or voltage controlled Reverb reverb. This specialised sounds creates a sweeping-like introduction to your sound, acting as a dynamic fade in on certain sounds. It features controls for absorption and internal modulation depth and speed, allowing you to create smooth resonances, chorused-type effects, shimmer, ghost choirs and more. The ‘Tilt’ control allows you to shape the tone of reverb, giving you the ability to emphasise low or high frequency content. The Tempo Input also allows you to synchronise the Pre-Delay, Reverse and Internal modulation to an external clock/
At the heart of the Erbe-Verb Module is high-performance DSP hardware. This hardware delivers 24-bit/48kHz sample rate for exceptional audio fidelity. It also provides 32-bit floating point processing, whilst retaining reasonable power consumption. The continuously variable Decay settings range all the way up to infinite feedback, allowing you to create truly unique tones. The wide range Pre-Delay settings range from 7ms - 500ms. The all-analog dry signal patch includes Mono In and Stereo (or Mono) Out.
The sleek yet stylish faceplate bases its design on a vintage circuit board, with each parameter and control clearly labelled for quick and easy access. There are 11 patch points in total ranging from inputs and outputs to modulation points. Also included is a CV output, allowing the Erbe-Verb to communicate with the rest of your system. Its unique design and functionality create a whole new building block for modular synthesis, coded by Tom Erbe of soundhack.
