DISC Image Line PoiZone

Image Line PoiZone is a streamlined subtractive synthesizer plug-in. Built around an intuitive user interface which removes all non-essential controls, PoiZone lets you explore the tonal possibilities of subtractive synthesis with no barriers to your creativity. Instead, you can quickly find new sounds for your project, remaining in the creative groove with no difficult menus or parameters to traverse. Packing a huge, punchy sound, PoiZone is comprised of two oscillators that can morph between two waveforms, Saw and Pulse with adjustable pulse width. The oscillators can be blended with the onboard noise generator to create typical subtractive sounds with plenty of aggression and character for searing leads or crunching pad sounds.

Employing a 16-voice polyphony encompassing four unison voices with user-adjustable stereo panning and 'octaver', there's a huge range of tonal variation within PoiZone including creating realistic vocal-like sounds. Housing two assignable ADSR envelope generators, you can assign to the onboard LFO or modulation wheel for a wide range of performance options.

Crafting a perfect sound for your project is made easy with the included filters and FX. Three filter modes including low-pass, band-pass and high-pass are meticulously analog-modelled to offer a wide range of tones from clean and characterful to dirty and aggressive. Adding the final touches to your sound, a ring modulator, sync modulator, tempo-synced delay, analog-modelled chorus effect and 16-step noise gate lets you explore your sonic creativity. Should you ever run out of sounds within PoiZone, the 385 expertly-crafted factory presets offers a variety of tones and textures for you to experiment with or use as a jumping-off point for customising for your projects.
