Expansive Connectivity

As well as the 58-in/64-out configuration, the Red 4Pre also features a range of additional connections. Featuring support for dual Thunderbolt™ 2, Pro Tools|HD and Dante™ network audio connectivity, this interface allows you to connect to a range of platforms. The two Thunderbolt 2 ports allow you to connect to your selected DAW whilst connecting Thunderbolt devices simultaneously. Additionally, there is support for the Dante™ network as well as direct Pro Tools connection, adding to the interface's versatility. You can also add up to 64 extra channels using the Dante™ audio network via an Ethernet connection for expansive connectivity options.

Four Red Evolution Air-Enabled Mic Preamps

One of the most unique features of this audio interface is the four integrated Red Evolution mic-preamps. These Air-Enabled mic preamps deliver up to 63dB of gain, providing exceptional clarity and harmonic performance. Offering individual phantom power, setting recall, stereo linking and more, these mic preamps are some of the most versatile and powerful on the market providing exceptional audio quality matched by its performance. The Air mode featured on these preamps provides analogue emulation of Focusrite's ISA preamp.
