The Apogee Bundle Mod FX is comprised of two powerful modern FX plugins in the form of ModEQ 6 and Mod Comp. The Apogee ModComp is a powerful advanced compressor plugin with three selectable compression styles to choose from. It also features a two-band sidechain EQ which is great for use on basslines and kick drums, providing the perfect balance between two sounds. A good counterpoint to many of the analog-modelled compressor plugins, ModComp provides transparent dynamics processing with adjustable attack, release, threshold, ratio and knee controls, you can achieve many different tonalities, without adding any unnecessary character.


The Apogee ModEQ 6 is a cutting-edge six-band EQ plugin with a built-in spectrum analyser housed in a sleek and streamlined interface - perfect for shaping sound. Unlike conventional EQ plugins, the ModEQ provides you with six-bands to work with, allowing you to make mixing decisions with absolute precision. The ultra-accurate spectrum analyser provides instant visual feedback so you can see where your input sound is hitting within the frequency spectrum. It also has a range of presets to choose from - ideal as a starting point for your mixes.

Precision six-band visual EQ

Jam-packed with useful features, the ModEQ 6 provides all the tools you need to shape and mix your sounds with maximum precision. Need to focus in on a certain frequency? You can use the Band Solo function so you can zero in on problematic frequencies and more. It also features low-pass and hi-pass filters for quick and easy fixes like cleaning up bass channels. The real-time spectrum analyser allows you to choose the speed at which it analyses your signal. This can be highly helpful when it comes to providing visual feedback for your input sounds.

Powerful modern compressor

Providing the utmost transparency, the ModComp provides instant visual feedback for your input signal. The modern and intuitive interface features a streamlined design with pre-loaded presets you can use as a starting point or as a quick go-to for your mixing decisions. This modern compressor/limiter features three selectable compression styles to choose from as well as a Dry/FX mix button so you can hear the differences between affected signal and the original.

Use your plugins with or without Apogee hardware

Part of the legendary Apogee FX Rack and ApogeeChannelFX plugin suites, the ModEQ 6 and ModComp can be used without Apogee hardware for added convenience. It also features DualPath functionality which means you can run the plugin directly from the Symphony Desktop, Element Series and Ensemble Thunderbolt interfaces from Apogee.
