You can be sure of great sound all the way up to the maximum volume and all the way down to 56 Hz. This rock solid sound performance is thanks to the D-contour technology. D-Contour is an intelligent multi-band limiter, which adjusts your EQ depending on the output of multiple frequency bands.
Yamaha's advanced FIR-X crossover tuning doesn't just split your sound into low and high frequencies. The crossover also intelligently manages the phase of each band coming out of the crossover. This results in a cleaner sound with no mid range phase cancellation which can plague lesser two way speakers.
Intuitive and reliable sound for years to come
Getting a great sound couldn't be easier, thanks to the integrated 3-channel mixer. Each channel has its own volume control to balance your sources. Once you've got a great balance, the sound output can be adjusted to different spaces and applications, with easy contouring preset switches.
For use in different PA configurations, with or without subs and other speakers, switches are included for a high pass filter and mono/stereo modes. Yamaha have so much faith in their design that if you register your DXR10mkII 10'' Active PA Speaker on their website you'll get an extended seven year warranty.
Versatile cabinet design
You can use the DXR10mkII in a variety of configurations. For floor monitoring applications, a 50° angle is integrated into the cabinet design for easy placement. Two 35 mm speaker pole mounts let you mount the speaker at an angle of either 0°, or 7°
