Key Features
The Shure GLXD16 Digital Pedal Board Wireless Guitar System allows you to move freely around the stage without the constraints and risks of a cable.
There's two really important things to know about this wireless system. First, it has no impact on your tone at all. Secondly setup is easy, you turn it on and it links. That's it. Done. Forever.
Consisting of a receiver, belt pack transmitter, and short instrument cable. The Shure GLXD16 sits on your pedalboard, it functions as an exceptionally good tuner and it's your ticket to on-stage freedom. That's 30 metres of free movement for up to 16 hours. Easy.

You want it to work. And you want it to work every time you go to use it. Shure had that in mind when they built the GLXD16. Once you set it up, which is done by switching both the transmitter and receiver on (they both automatically pair to each other). You don’t have to mess about with it.
Because ‘LinkFreq’ technology does the rest. ‘LinkFreq’ continually monitors available frequencies, automatically switches frequencies, making sure you’re always connected. It does all that without you ever knowing. You’ll be somewhere else on the stage, doing something more important, like nailing a solo.
Also the system runs on 2.4GHz wireless. So you don’t need to pay for an additional license!
Guitarists are particular. You know that. So Shure went to great lengths to make sure the GLXD16 wireless instrument system doesn’t effect your tone, in any way. So all those hours you’ve spent getting your sound down? They weren’t wasted.
Space on your pedalboard is limited. So the GLXD16 is also a top of the line chromatic tuner. You can even choose to mute or pass the audio signal while tuning up too. So eventually, it might even save you space on your board! How’s that for well thought out?
Seems obvious. But making the receiver out of hardwearing metal is important. If the receiver is going to live on a pedalboard, you need to be able to stamp on it. The GLXD16 will stand up to year of use, gig-after-gig.
The bodypack transmitter is powered by Lithium-ion batteries. Built into the pack, mean you don’t have to keep a constant supply of batteries with you. Even better, they charge quickly, so if you need to get ready in less time – the GLXD16 wireless system is ready.
