The Miktek T200 Kick Drum Microphone is the perfection solution for recording and capturing kick drums, either in the studio or on stage. The T200 Microphone has been optimised for kick drum recordings, with its supercarioid pickup pattern providing optimal isolation so the other drums do not bleed into your recording. Its rugged and portable design includes a mic clip for optimal positioning, ensuring a perfect take every time. It features custom components such as the Miktek custom output transformer and a specialised capsule design. The high SPL capabilities also means the microphone is suitable for micing up bass guitar amps.
The wide and low-end frequency range is optimised for power, ensuring your kick drum will push through any mix with ease. At the heart of the microphone is the custom Neodymium element capsule, matched with the Miktek custom output transformer for exceptional audio fidelity. The low-end sound reproduction is ideal for low toms, kick drums, acoustic bass and more. The resulting sound is powerful and defined, capturing the grit and warmth of your kick drum in optimal detail.
The compact and highly rugged design makes it ideal for both stage and studio. The custom capsule’s design provides optimal rear rejection and maximum gain before feedback, ideal for live sound applications. The T200’s construction features a die-cast body and an integrated steel grille, designed to protect the precious components from damage whilst in use and/or on the move. The sleek dark grey finish features black accents for an unobtrusive aesthetic that will blend with any other microphone setup. Additionally the microphone comes complete with a mic clip and a protective case for storing and transporting your microphone.
