Extensive Tone In A Compact Chassis

The Engl E530 manages to squeeze 4-channels of valve tone into 1U of rack space and gives you all the tonal sculpting options to cover every gain level and sonic style imaginable. If you value real tube tones, the ENGL E530 features 2 ECC83 / 12AX7 valves to provide the organic warmth and natural overdrives that only valves can deliver. It offers all this tone in a versatile 4 channel package with MIDI and optional footswitch control over main functions so that you have unique sounds ready to access at the push of a footswitch.

4 Channels Of Endless Potential

The E530 has two main channels with independent EQ alongside bright and contour switches to provide extensive tone sculpting potential. Each channel offers the ability to switch from low-gain to high-gain, giving you 4 channels in total to cover every tonal base that the modern rock guitarist requires, from crystal clean to crunch, onto distorted chunk through to saturated high-gain sounds.  The Engl E530 is an ideal tool for a modern gigging musician who requires a versatile range of tones accessible at the click of an external footswitch. This unit is also ideal for studio use, where its wide range of tonal sculpting and real valve tones will deliver the sounds you require.

The Routes To Tonal Joy

The E530 includes all the routing capabilities that you could hope for, allowing you to send a feed to a power amp whilst simultaneously sending line outputs to a mixing desk or recording device. It also features an FX loop to utilise your own pedals / rack effects and offers cabinet emulation for sending a direct signal to font-of-house. The E530 includes a small 1.5 watt power section which can be used to provide headphone output or for a small speaker system when demoing tones at home with the cabinet emulated out. This gives it great potential to be integrated to your live setup on stage or to be the ideal practice tool, providing you with real tube tones at home.
