Noise Engineering Electus Versio Overview
Noise Engineering Electus Versio is a dynamic reverb and delay module that will expand the sonic possibilities of any Eurorack set-up. Noise Engineering took their popular Desmodus Versio module and gave it an upgrade with new clock input, so it can be synced to your other hardware so everything can be tidied up nicely. But that's not all, the Electus is a beast in and of itself with some mighty upgrades to take your sounds into a new realm and expand your horizons.
One of the best parts about the Electus is the compact nature of the unit, gifting you a complete powerhouse of a module that won't take up too much space that's ready to fit into any Eurorack modular set-up. The clever reworking of the Desmodus performed by Noise Engineering has also benefited the Electus as you're now able to extend your delay times for an even longer time period meaning there is more opportunity for creative layering in your sounds.
You can also change how your delay is structured with the convenient L/C/R controls opening up panning opportunities to place your repeats anywhere on the auditory plain. Electus Versio is the more aggressive sibling of Desmodus and anything is possible with long evolving delays, atmospheric reverb and so much more ready to be utilised at your fingertips.

The Electus Versio comes packed with CV inputs adorned on it's front panel. This gives you the ultimate power to modulate your effects so you can hook up external modules create some unique sounds with added warble, tape-stop, LFO and more, the only limitation being your own imagination. This versatility can really expand the atmospheres created with Electus meaning every time you engage the module something new is bound to be created from light delay and reverb to full distorted sonic plains that go beyond anything ever created.
Limitless creativity using DSP
Not only is Electus Versio a unique distortion, but it’s also a stereo DSP platform. A simple USB connection allows you to update to a variety of firmware. Open-source support is available too, which allows you to write your own firmware. This truly creates a limitless possibility for your module, allowing you to explore any sounds that aren't yet available through hardware modules.
