Advanced multimode filtering

The perfect tool for sound design, Solid Felt provides all the controls and parameters you need to shape sound as well as create an overdrive effect, as well as other useful functions. This multi-function desktop analog filter can be used in a wide variety of ways, not just for filtering. It can be configured for use as two independent mono filters, as a mono 24 dB/oct filter (running the two filters in series) or you can even synthesize sounds using external feedback patching. You can also use it to filter a stereo signal at the same cutoff frequency for both the left and right channels.

More advanced functions including using Solid Felt to generate a stereo overdrive effect – perfect for adding texture and grit to your audio source. It can also be used to bring line-level signals to Eurorack level, so you can incorporate instruments into your Eurorack setup. Select between lowpass, bandpass and highpass filter responses (CV controllable) and shape your sound using the resonance and frequency controls. The voltage-controlled LFO features a waveform blending control and two outputs (180 degrees out of phase) providing enhanced tonal versatility. The envelope follower is fed into a three-stage clock divider for advanced sound shaping.

Sleek, stylish, compact and portable; the Solid Felt is perfect for the stage or the studio featuring robust metal housing and a range of connection options. With a myriad of connections on offer, you can use Solid Felt with a wide range of external audio gear such as semi-modular synths, guitars, keyboards and more. Two 1/4-inch high-impedance inputs are accompanied by two low-impedance outputs as well as eight Eurorack compatible CV (I/O) connections for bringing line level signals to the Euroack level.
