Interwoven into rock history. The MXR DD25V3 Dookie Drive V3 celebrates the 25th anniversary of Green Day's groundbreaking album "Dookie". With the coveted sound of Billie Joe Armstrong's pop-punk drive tone, players have the freedom to blend the best of his two favoured amp voices at the hit of a switch. Whether you want a scooped tone packed with power, or a punching midrange with plenty of bite - the Dookie drive kicks out all the crunch that gave the album its iconic status.
Shape it your way. Traditional gain and output controls let you dictate your sound's searing character. Dial-in your tone to switch between articulate, defined riffs and fat, textured chords. Because, in order to recreate the historic sound of Armstrong's legendary riffs - you need to find the right balance. Topped off with a truly distinctive unicorn design, the Dookie Drive showcases the sound, style, and personality that made us fall in love with the famed album. Take your sound to a new dimension.

Get yourself a pedal without limits. The Dookie Drive features two separate amp sims, based on the two heavily modified amplifiers Billie Joe Armstrong used when recording Dookie. MXR designed and then redesigned this circuit from the ground up to perfectly recreate BJA's most iconic tones. The end result was rebuilding his two famous amps- 'Meat' and 'Pete' into a pedal-sized circuit and adding a blend control to let you sweep between them. Sweep the blend control to the left to unlock perfect emulations of Dookie tones, while turning to the right lets you access slightly heavier, grittier tones more reminiscent of Insomniac.
Make your lead lines sound clearer and more dynamic than ever. Because this isn't simply an overdrive, the amp simulation circuits give you full, rich tones that will never lack depth or sound thin. This allows the MXR Dookie Drive to feature a scoop function. This is particularly brilliant for riffs and solos, giving them the power they need to be heard fully and richly - no matter how thick the mix is.
A pedal with rock pedigree at its heart. The Green Day Dookie Drive is designed to emulate the sound that made the band so successful and well-loved in the first place. Featuring the now classic overdrive tones used on their 1994 album Dookie, it'll provide the unique, pop-meets-punk sound that has come to define the band.
To this day, Dookie stands clear as Green Day's biggest selling album - even eclipsing their 2004 mega-hit American Idiot. This pedal is a tribute to that raw, exhilarating sound that made them famous. Experience greatness.
