Versatile choices

The Broken Arrow's circuitry is inspired by the same soft clipping overdrive featured in the revered TS-808. However, the pedal is much more expansive. You'll be able to sculpt and hone your sound by engaging the onboard active, three-band EQ. Enhance your sound further by adjusting the clipping modes. You'll have a generous choice of four:

  • Green - Yes, you guessed right. Green represents the iconic sound of the legendary Tube Screamer pedal.
  • Magenta - Magneta represents asymmetric clipping. If you're a rhythm guitarist and want to step into the spotlight now and again, then this is the mode for you.
  • Blue - Blue is great for lead guitarists. Engage this mode for a focused tone, full of clarity.
  • Amber - If you crave the sound of early Marshall amplifiers then Amber will be your new best friend. This mode suits a wide range of styles, especially blues and rock n' roll, where higher headroom is preferable and tones are less compressed.

Sculpt your sound

Thanks to the on-board three band active EQ, you'll be able to create a sound that'll suit any task. The Broken Arrow removes the need for additional equalisation pedals in your chain. The equaliser that is featured in this transparent overdrive pedal is based on the renowned Baxandall EQ. Baxandall EQ's reside in many Dangerous Audio hardware units. Smooth and subtle, you'll be able to sculpt your tone to remove any fatiguing frequencies that are commonly found in high gain pedals.
