Looking back at the start, the Triangle Bug Muff recaptures those first tones in an easy to use and compact stompbox. Loose yourself in the effect that helped artists like Thin Lizzy, The Smashing Pumpkins, and even Jimi Hendrix deliver amazing, overdriven, distorted soundscapes.

Underneath its chassis, you'd find the heart of the Muff. Made with the perfect level of detail, it faithfully recreates the original circa 1969 circuitry - giving you a truly vintage performance. No sound will feel unfamiliar from the original Big Muff. And that's before we even talk about the JHS Illuminati modification.

Modified for Even More Tonal Variety

The JHS' mod brings a controllable gain and a toggle switch to the table. Inject a whole new side of the Big Muff into your performance with a simple flick of a switch. Much like the art of finding hidden messages, the Illuminati mod will let you find new and interesting sounds within your performance. Use the toggle to take the Big Muff from its classic sound to a more open and powerful distortion or a saturated, full raging fuzz. You even have access to a gain knob, letting you dial in the perfect amount of gated fuzz.
