The Fender Aerodyne Special Stratocaster is built using bespoke tonewoods for a durable performance that will reward you over time and multiple uses. Constructed using basswood, the body of this guitar delivers a sturdy performance alongside a well-balanced tone with tight lows and crystal-clear highs – but where it really excels is in the midrange. Balanced beautifully by the maple neck, which brings a shimmering brightness to the mix – you’ll be able to exercise your creativity across the scale for an enhanced performance.
It's equipped with three single coil Stratocaster pickups that produce that classic Strat pluckiness and clarity with a fiery aggression when pushed hard. Any performer's dream, they are highly versatile and easily tailorable, and will allow you to find your own take on a sound that inspired a generation. With the more delicate, rounded tones on the neck to the sharp, twangy bridge and everything in between – the Aerodyne boasts a diverse tone that offers something for everyone. What’s more, it can be moulded quickly and easily via the 5-Way pickup selector, master volume and two tone knobs. These extensive yet easy-to-use controls allow for a wealth of tonal options to explore.

Complete with a chrome finish that contribute to the retro, space-age aesthetic – the control knobs and tuning pegs complement the finish of the guitar whilst guaranteeing a reliable usability. It’s designed so that – no matter how intensive the whammy action – your guitar retains a stable tuning, so you can say goodbye to retuning between every song. On top of this, the bridge works in harmony with the tuning pegs and synthetic bone nut to ensure a comfortable and adjustable action of the strings is held above the maple fretboard. The comfortable playability that this provides is enhanced by the modern “C” neck design. Finished with a satin polyester gloss, this comfortably shaped neck is easily manoeuvrable and allows for pinpoint intonation every time.
