The 5150 III 6L6 features a radically redesigned, compact casing for ultimate convenience and portability. But don't let that fool you - two high-headroom 6L6 power amp valves still produce the signature sizzle that seasoned 5150 users love.
The faceplate controls have been intelligently upgraded to allow independent gain and volume levels for all three channels. Round the back, you can pair it with your favourite cabs thanks to dual parallel speaker outputs offering selectable impedance at 4, 8 or 16 ohms. Flicking between channels is as simple as stepping on the included EVH footswitch, and with a premium, footswitchable effects loop and legendary EVH styling, the 5150 III 6L6 is 50 watts of pure power in a surprising portable package.

Every base covered. The EVH 5150 III 6L6 50W Valve Head features three channels - clean, crunch and lead. While the clean and crunch channels share a three-band EQ, handy dual-concentric gain and volume pots let you balance their outputs perfectly. The infamous 5150 lead channel retains its own separate settings for ultimate control. Global presence and global resonance controls add the finishing touch to your tone.
Included with the EVH 5150 III is an extremely practical four button footswitch which allows seamless switching between the EVH's three on board channels. Designed with live performers in mind, the included footswitch supports MIDI input as well as a standard 1/4" jack, and features four colour coded LEDs. The fourth button engages the 5150 III's high-quality onboard effects loop, for character on tap.
As well as delivering 50 watts of sheer power, the EVH 5150 also features a durable, roadworthy construction with classic EVH appointments. Textured vinyl provides a protective covering, while reinforced corners protect against bumps. Additional features include chicken-head style pointers, red LED jewel indicator, nickel plated caps and many more. If that's not enough, the EVH 5150 head also features a moulded plastic strap for convenient transportation.
