View Full DescriptionThe DiMarzio Air Classic™ Bridge Humbucker is intended primarily for the bridge position in all solid, semi-hollow and hollow body guitars, but is also highly effective in the neck position.
Innovative Airbucker™ Design
The Air Classic™ Bridge pickup is made using DiMarzio's Airbucker™ design, which incorporates a small gap between the magnet and the pole pieces. This space works to slightly reduce the magnetic field over the pickup, providing your tone with exceptional dynamics control and greatly improved clarity and sustain. The Airbucker™ design produces a sound similar to that of vintage humbuckers with weakened or "aged" magnets, but without the inherent unpredictability of using an authentic 50s or 60s pickup.
