After the success of the Pigtronix FAT Drive for guitar, the Bass FAT Drive seemed inevitable. Fine-tuned for low end muscle and grind this pedal slams your amp with all analogue, tube emulated overdrive that ranges from soft and warm to high gain apocalyptic thunder. If you use the Bass FAT Drive in front of a DI or solid state amp the pedal adds a round, organic depth to your bass tone.

The Pigtronix's CMOS clipping concept sculpts a massive sound that breaks up based on how hard you hit your strings. Turn the tone control all the way clockwise and the bass specific low pass filter is completely removed from the circuit for total transparency and robust low end. Turn it back and this will attenuate only the top end, leaving mid range and bottom end punch intact.

Additional versatility comes from the Hi/Lo toggle switch which alters the gain structure of the Pigtronix Bass FAT Drive for deep saturation. This pedal features true bypass switching and runs on standard 9 volt power. The Bass FAT drive ships with an 18 volt adaptor for superior headroom, clarity and output.
