The Ibanez RG927WFXZC-NTF RG Premium is a 7-string electric guitar with a Ziricote top and an American Basswood body with DiMarzio IBZ-7 pickups and a bound Rosewood fretboard. This strikingly beautiful 7-string electric guitar features a 5 piece neck comprised of darker coloured wenge and bubinga. These materials are normally found on bass guitar necks, meaning they are stronger and are designed to handle higher string tension, making this guitar ideal for downtuning. The DiMarzio IBZ pickups on this guitar are designed to have a flat yet clear response whilst retaining its tuning, even after extended periods of use.

Wizard Neck Profile

The use of Ibanez's own Wizard-7 High Performance neck allows for the Premium RG927WFXZC-NTF to be extremely playable and optimized for lead guitarists as the thin nature of the neck helps to perform swift and nimble guitar runs seamlessly whilst retaining enough substance to ensure a thick and full resonance when playing rhythm patterns and chords.

Tight-End R Bridge

The new Tight-End R Bridge was designed specifically for the RG flat top. A marked improvement over the conventional fixed bridge, the Tight-End R delivers both playability and rock-solid stability. Saddles firmly locked onto the base plate maximize string vibration transmitted to the body. The smooth bridge surface protects the strumming hand no matter how aggressively you play. Simple saddle height and intonation adjustments ensure accurate set-up.
