The Cordoba C5-CESB Electro Acoustic Classical Guitar is based on Cordoba's best-selling C5 guitar which has been the mainstay in the Iberia series for many years, but adds a distinctly modern touch of a solid Sitka Spruce top with a stunning sunburst finish. The African Mahogany back and sides combine with the traditional 7 fan bracing pattern to produce a warm, yet crisp and articulate tone. The soft cutaway provides easy access to the upper frets and ensures a comfortable playing experience, while the Fishman Isys+ pickup amplifies your sound for live performances. The new Cordoba C5-SB also features a traditional style Mahogany neck with a Rosewood fingerboard, Maple and Ebony purfling, an all wood inlaid rosette and mother of pearl inlays.

Spanish Elegance

The C5-CESB has always been one of Cordoba's best sellers, and now they have released this contemporary model with a solid spruce top, complete with a sunburst finish. As part of the Iberia series, the C5-CESB includes a beautiful spruce top which delivers a bright a clear tone, with great projection and features distinctive pale colour. The African mahogany back and sides add a contrasting elegance to the spruce top, and provides a warm and dark tone. The combination of these stunning tonewoods provide a beautiful instrument that is ideal for flamenco style music and much more.

Fishman Electronics

Equipped with Fishman Isys+, the Cordoba's sound is greatly enhanced for the optimum projection. The preamp is easily controlled by the accessible side mount, that also offers an onboard tuner with an LED screen. It is the perfect extra for travelling guitarists as it minimises the need for an additional tuner.

A Brief History

Cordoba was originally founded in 1997, and their ambition was to guide the evolution of the nylon string guitar. They cleverly combine traditional craftsmanship of the early master luthiers and add modern developments such as onboard electronics. All Cordoba guitars are lightweight, responsive and a have a Spanish inspired elegance. Cordoba maintain the authenticity of their heritage in every guitar, and ensure superb quality.
