Sporting a futuristic-looking chrome casing with blue knobs, it will stand out from any pedal board and outshine any other pedal. Equipped with six knobs to control Tone, Mix, Rate, Time, Regen and Depth, four toggle switches and two stompswitches, it is certainly very easy to operate despite its overwhelming appearance.
Intelligent Features
The Chase Bliss Audio Tonal Recall Analogue Delay is equipped with two bucket brigade chips, which provide a warm quality. They are one of the cleanest sounding chips on the market and have a delay time of up to 550ms and not to mention a strong bright attack. As well as this internal feature, the Tonal Recall also includes three selectable waveforms of Triangle, Sine and Square. This particular feature is perfect for shaping your repeats, offering a stunning sounding delay that can fit any style of music with its subtle wavering tape like modulation to ambient oscillating drones.
Mini Dip Switches
Like the other pedals in the Chase Bliss Audio lineup, the Tonal Recall is also equipped with 16 easily-accessible mini DIP switches that allow you to modulate various parameters in a number of unique ways. Offering a vast amount of unique tones that you can tweak to achieve a sound that stands out from the rest. These mini dip switches include an easy-to-read mini chart which is located at the side of the unit.
MIDI Compatible
The Chase Bliss Audio Tonal Recall is also MIDI compatible and can be used with an Empress Effects Midibox (Sold Separately). It allows all of its parameters to be controlled via control change messages, and its presets to be saved and recalled with program change messages.
