From the CDJ-500 right up to the present day, Pioneer have gone from strength to strength with each release of its flagship CDJ series. The CDJ-3000 takes this to the next level; being the first Pioneer CDJ with a built-in micro processing unit (MPU). This advanced onboard processing revolutionises the way the CDJ works, providing an optimised workflow that is smoother and more stable than any of its siblings. The MPU was the keystone in developing new functions and improving controls.

Perfect for professionals, the integrated MPU provides rock-solid stability, improved reliability and seamless operation. Some of the exciting new functions include Touch Preview, Touch Cue and Stacked Waveforms.

The Pioneer CDJ-3000 delivers a flawless mixing experience, with redesigned controls for the Play, Cue and Hot Cue buttons for added durability and a nicer feel. It also retains all the features from previous CDJ units, with the addition of the new premium-quality aluminium top plate and the lockable V-Lock power cable to avoid accidental disconnections. The Key Sync feature also makes it so you can blend harmonics in key for a more musical mix. From scratching to mixing, the CDJ-3000 is ready for the main stage.

Touch Preview, Touch Cue, Stacked Waveform and 3Band Waveform

The Touch Preview function allows you to preview any part of any song by touching the waveform displayed on the touchscreen. Simply touch the part of the waveform you would like to preview and you will hear it instantly. This makes it easier than ever to cue up songs and find your next mix. Touch Cue allows you to preview part of a track whilst it's still playing. For example, should you want to find the next drop in a song and see how it would fit within your mix you can identify your mix point whilst still playing.

The 3Band Waveform allows you to focus on the frequency maps of a song, with the waveform displaying three different colours within the waveform for each of the three bands (low, mids and highs). The new Stacked Waveform function allows you to stack two song waveforms on top of each other so you can keep an eye on your master player and cue up your next songs whilst identifying mix points.

Smoothest ever jogwheel, highest audio quality

Another new improvement is the redesigned jogwheel. This upgraded design makes it the smoothest jogwheel yet, with half the touch latency of the popular CDJ-2000NXS. Of course it also retains the LCD screen within the centre, displaying artwork of the track which you can currently in use on the deck.

Let the crowd experience their favourite songs like never before. The CDJ-3000 internal audio calculation delivers 96kHz/32-bit floating audio resolution for all the compatible audio formats. This captures every nuance of your sound source, delivering incredible detail and exceptional sonic accuracy.

New and improved high-resolution touchscreen display

The touchscreen display has set the CDJ apart from the competition with its in-depth display offering new and exciting ways to interact with songs and settings. The new and improved display Is bigger and better measuring at 9-inches with the familiar GUI (graphical user interface). You can now customise the information that the touchscreen displays as well as change text size and other preferences. The brightness has also been improved, perfect for both outdoor events and dark nightclub venues.

Pro DJ Link with advanced support for lighting effects

The rear of the CDJ features a Pro DJ Link connection so you can synchronise your music with external lighting. This works by the CDJ sending out phrase analysis information to rekordbox, allowing you to control lighting effects via the RB-DMX (not included) so you can truly to take your performances to the next level.

You can also use Pro DJ Link to share and play audio from both USB drives and SD cards for up to six CDJ-3000 units. You can combine them using a 6-channel mixer such as the Pioneer DJM-V10. You can also play music from external sources such as an iPhone. The CDJ-3000 also supports all major audio formats including lossless formats such as FLAC.

Roadworthy design with flexible performance options

The robust and roadworthy design features a range of improvements including dedicated beat jump buttons and an expanded Auto Beat Loop section. The re-designed controls provide added durability, making sure your CDJ-3000 stays ready for action for years to come.

The CDJ offers numerous ways to play music and perform, including the ability to play rekordbox-analysed music directly from USB drives (via Export mode). You can also connect your laptop using the USB-HID control or via the Link Export or Performance mode for added flexibility. You can even utilise your music library from Beatport and Soundcloud Go+ so you can constantly update your music selection no matter where you are.
