    Single Coil and Humbucking Pickups

    Loaded with a Custom Shop Vintage Style single coil pickup in the bridge position the '50s Telecaster delivers a crisp and clear vintage style tone with plenty of body and clarity perfect for blues and rock playing styles. Additionally the '50s Tele incorporates a versatile Wide Range Special Humbucker in the neck position to produce warm and smooth tones perfect for mellow chord patterns and rich lead parts.

    String-Thru Body

    The Limited Edition American Vintage '50s Tele incorporates a string-thru body construction to provide improved tonality and sustain by transferring vibrations and resonance from the string to the body as it goes over the 3-saddle bridge and passes through the body.

    Compound Radius Fingerboard

    The Vintage '50s Telecaster also features Fender's unique and innovative compound-radius fretboard design, in which the fretboard gradually flattens toward the heel from its more rounded profile at the nut providing a smooth playability for both chords and riffs whilst the flattened heel allows sensational accessibility and speed at the high register perfect for both lead and rhythm players.

    Bone Nut

    Featuring a carefully fitted bone nut the American Vintage '50s Tele delivers an increased resonance and brighter tonality over traditional plastic and Tusq nuts as it improves the vibration transfer between the string and tuning machines without dampening the tone.
