The feel of the Pearl Tru-Trac Drum Heads is almost identical to that of an acoustic drum head, with a realistic give to match the feel. This allows drummers who use acoustic kits to transition to a drum kit fitted with Pearl Tru-Trac Heads without having to alter their playing style at all. The size of the electronic drum heads is also favourable to the acoustic drummer, as most pads that are fitted to electronic drum kits are usually small, with some mid range kits having 6'' toms. Incredibly Quick Set-Up

The Pearl EPro Tru-Trac Conversion Pack is as quick and simple to install as changing your regular acoustic drum heads. You don't need to worry about drilling or modifying your drums. With Tru-Trac Heads, you just need to remove your current acoustic heads, pick the appropriate sized Tru-Trac head and the included Non-Drill Adaptor and a TRS cable. The adaptor fits into the drum's air vent and tightens to the backing plate, then attach the TRS cable. Place the Tru-Trac Head on your drum's bearing edge and attach securely with the longer tension rods into your drum hoops. Then you just plug the heads into a module or a digital interface and the heads are ready to be played.
