Paiste 2002 cymbals

Legendary cymbals with a giant footprint in rock music. The current 2002 cymbals have built on the classic sound that many drummers have stood by for their entire career. Combining the classic design with sounds suitable for modern music, these cymbals can help propel you to the next level in your playing.

14” Sound Edge Hi Hats

Sound Edge hi-hats are designed with medium weighted top and bottom cymbals. This results in a performance that can respond from medium soft to loud. This ensures intricate performances can be appreciated, whilst coming alive for big chorus beats. The medium sustain ensures that open hi-hat performances carry significant weight yet can be controlled in more relaxed playing situations. The bottom hi-hat features the once patented wavy design that has become synonymous with Paiste hi-hats.

16” & 18” Classic Crash

Both the 16” and 18” crash included with the cymbal set feature the distinct bright tone of 2002 cymbals. Providing a warmth to your performance, the washy impact sound ensures cymbals hits don’t go unnoticed. The classic crash features similarities to the original 2002 crash, a very versatile, classic rock sound.

20” Ride

The 20” ride is hugely versatile, seamlessly switching between loud performances to subtle, bell-reliant beats. Having a ride with this much power hugely expands the dynamic range of your performance. Equally as bright as the crash cymbals, the whole set of cymbals compliment each other well. A defined ping can be heard over a full wash, allowing individual strikes to be heard even when thrashing through high intensity performances.
