Thanks to the amazing price, the Stagg CR5205 cornet is a very accessible way to learn the cornet. The bell is made from yellow brass which produces a clear and rich sound - perfect for a variety of different genres. To ensure that tuning is never an issue, the CR5205 cornet features a thumb saddle and finger ring for quick intonation fixes.

What really makes the Stagg CR5205 cornet stand out is the gold brass leadpipe. Perfect for producing a rich and warm tone, this leadpipe is perfectly suited for brass band music. Similar to professional cornets, the valves in the CR5205 are crafted from monel. Monel is a nickel and copper alloy that is used by the majority of premium instruments. This is because monel valves are very dense and are more resistant to corrosion, meaning they won't flake and are less likely to seize up.
