Key Features
The Ground Control is a Eurorack performance sequencer designed around a unique 24 pad keyboard. Featuring the built-in four-track sequencer comprised of three melodic tracks and a drum track consisting of eight trigger lanes with a modulation output, the Ground Control leaves everything on the surface with the ability to play in your melodic phrases and drum sequencing without deep diving into menus. Each track can contain 24 patterns that can be played separately or chained together in any order.
The Ground Control can be integrated into your existing Eurorack to be the main brains of your setup. It's the best of both worlds; taking an alternative approach by using 101 step input for melodic sequencing to create melodies on the fly with ease, allowing you to concentrate on your creativity with less menu diving an X0X-style sequencer for precise drum arrangements and a 303-style editor for living performance. Programming full arrangements has never been easier.

Ground Control is a sequencer for CV/Gate signals as well as MIDI and USB-MIDI devices. It’s the best of two worlds: It takes an alternative approach by using the 101 step input for melodic sequencing. That empowers you to create melodies on the fly with easier polymetrical input so you can concentrate on the creative part with less menu diving. Programming beats is easy as it ever was.
Ground Control offers up to 64 steps per pattern, 24 patterns per track and 24 projects. It offers in total 4 drum tracks with 8 triggers and also 3 melodic CV/gate tracks. The internal analogue and MIDI clocks are extremely stable in preserving low jitter operation, which is crucial for tight sequencing. Each track can contain 24 patterns, which can be played separately or chained together in any order. All those tracks are organized into 24 projects. Small details on the Ground Control further display the usability as a performance tool, such as the special dot symbol used in the track names for each track as well as on the associated buttons in form of palpable physical ‘nipples’ or ‘bumps’ on the rubber keys themselves to help navigate those main tracks with the fingers when performing.
Easy manipulation of the patterns in your track can be done by pressing both Pattern buttons to enable Pattern Lock. This means that changing one pattern on one track will change the pattern on all tracks. You can look forward to reliable and easy groove changes on the fly.
Feautring a two-octave keyboard, you have the ability to play sequences and drum grooves on the fly or through external USB/MIDI equipment and DAW integration. You now can bring together more flexibility and functionality with your Eurorack than ever before. The keyboard serves for dual-purpose functionality by playing melodies as well as entering menus on the surface eliminating the need for tedious menu diving. The Ground Control Keyboard can be transposed up or down to find the right balance between your melody in your chosen key and octave. Although the pads themselves are not weighted, send out velocity information through the MIDI out port into your DAW or other MIDI-equipped gear for a more expressive performance.
An Arpeggiator can be assigned to your keyboard to create flowing melodic phrases through your chosen scale, capturing classic Eurorack musical styles. The arpeggiator can be used with a latch function to lock in your note selection, enabling your free hands to focus on creativity elsewhere in your performance.
The Ground Control is ideal for people looking for Eurorack sequencer that can integrate into your existing setup to be the brains of your operation and remove the need for external melodic phrase triggering equipment such as a fully weighted keyboard.
As well as the eight individual drum component outputs, there are also dedicated mute buttons for each track. Creating an easy to read visual representation, the mute buttons will flash each time a note is triggered on the muted drum component. An innovative design, the mute function has a quantized action where they may not mute instantly, but instead mute when a certain track starts a cycle of the sequence. Hold the Mute Bus button for 1.5s to enable a momentary action to mute a track instantly. This is where your creativity can flourish. Take a musical decision depending on the context, sometimes it’s important to enable the track instantly, sometimes it’s good to queue the mute for one or multiple tracks, which frees up your hands to do other more interesting and important things. You can also use the Mute function and press with TEMPO button to Solo a drum component.
