Superior Shell Technology

Pearl's Export Series implements their Superior Shell Technology, using a proprietary technique to create the most efficient air chamber possible. Each wood has been chosen due to its acoustic properties and crafted using advanced construction methods to achieve an air-tight fit. Every wood ply is saturated with Pearl's 'AcoustiGlue' which dries to the exact consistency of the wood for maximum resonance. The plies are finally formed in high-temperature moulds under extreme pressure to produce shells which support the perfect balance between strength, exceptional tonal warmth, and remarkable resonance.
