A standard Taylor 200 Series guitar features a solid Sitka Spruce top and layered Koa back and sides with the option of steel or nylon strings.

The Taylor 200 Deluxe collection offers three options for layered back and sides tonewoods including Rosewood, Sapele and Koa as well as a various top finishes including Sunburst, Natural or Black. Each wood has its own tonal quality and unique aesthetics. 200 Series Deluxe models boast classic Taylor playability and sound and come with a hardshell Taylor case.
