Aided in this by its 2.3mm triple-flanged hoops, the drum is able to sing openly and produce a full and vibrant sustain. Tuning is accurate too thanks to 10 Gretsch Tube Lugs, letting this drum explore the full range of tones.

Stephen Ferrone has been fundamental in some of the biggest acts' sound and feel, taking their music to a new level. Born and raised in England, Steve cemented himself and his craft through working with acts such as Duran Duran, Eric Clapton, Tracy Chapman and much more, you have certainly heard his drums before. Cementing his career with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers for 23 years and currently touring with John Mayer for his Sob Rock tour, his musical career is definitely one to be in awe of.
